I guess we've lucked out lately though on the date nights because we got together with some other really good friends last Friday night to have dinner (which was delicious!) and play games! We should have taken Alli with us since another couple had their adorable little girl, but alas we'd opted not to without knowing she'd be there! We had a lot of fun catching up and hanging out with these friends, we'll have to do it again soon! I didn't take our camera so sadly there aren't pics. :(

oh.. there is NOTHING like temple square at christmas! this was the first year in so long that we didn't make it to see the light :(

and we are so sad we missed dinner and games last friday night.. we already had plans with my family and we actually headed home that night also... we have mentioned a million times since that night how fun it would have been because we knew you guys were going to be there! ... but we'll just have to make a plan and make it happen soon!
sounds like you had fun, we were going to do the temple square things before the Rodgers Christmas party, but jeremy had to put in a full day, we'll have to make sure we do it next year.

My goodness, with your mom so close you better go on dates with your husband as much as you can! I would give anything to have a more than willing babysitter so close by. I'm glad you had such a good time.
We take Afton with us every where too. Nothing wrong with that.
You got some FABULOUS pics of temple square! Sadly we didn't even make it to see the lights this year. It's a shame, it's one of the best things about living in Utah during the winter.
We had so much fun the other night! But be careful because Jason can't stop talking about a Quiddler rematch. :) He's not a very graceful loser. We'll have to do it again sometime soon!
