I love Happy Babies!!!

Alli is such a fun, happy baby.  It makes life so enjoyable, but I realized that she is a little camera shy or the red light from the flash scares her.  I will try to take pics when she is smiling and then she stops so here are some that I took.  She has been so happy and smiley the past few days.  It seems like each day she just talks more and plays more.  We bought her a toy a while ago and now she acts like she actually likes to play with the toy and she will smile and "talk" to the fish on her floor gym thingy.  She also likes to talk on the phone.  If I am playing with her and talking on the phone she will hit the phone so it is by her head and then she gets the biggest grin on her face.  If whoever is on the other side will talk to her she gets really excited and jabbers back.  It is so fun watching how quickly she learns things and how fast she changes!  

School's Out!

So here is a picture of my awesome class in my incredibly bare classroom. They have been such a wonderful class, I have loved teaching them. We have had a lot of really fun times and they have worked so hard. I will really miss them. Here is a pic of Alli and I will put some more of her up later this afternoon because I will be home earlier!! :)

So Much Love!

It is amazing how much you can love a little baby.  Allison is starting to respond, and those smiles and gurgles are so cute!  When she looks at you and smiles and "talks" it makes everything so worth it!  Ryan and I are loving being parents and now we really can't imagine life without her.  I am so thankful for this little blessing and am so excited for everything to come!  I am just enjoying each day with her and each little smile she gives us!  I am excited for all of the stages and things she will do, but it is so fun now when she is so little, it is crazy to think how quickly they grow!  Alli- we love you so much and are so glad you are part of our family!

Babies Galore!

This morning my niece Audrey Jane Palmer was born.  Way to go Annie!! I am sad because they live in Ohio so it will be a little while before I get to actually hold the baby, but they are great at putting pictures up.  She is a beautiful little girl.  Now Bryan and Annie have two cute little girls! Congratulations, I am so excited!  Jason and Christie had their baby girl Brynnlynn a few weeks after Alli and James and Natalie will have their baby boy soon hopefully.  They are due in about 1 week so maybe Scott will decide he is ready since all of his cousins are here.  It will be so fun to have so many cousins so close in age!

Sorry it has taken so long, I finally brought the camera to school so I could upload these. Happy belated Mother's Day to those mothers who will see this, and thank you for your great examples! I tried to show her little shoes because I thought they were really cute. Anyway, so these are obvsiouly her baby blessing and some of her smiling that I thought were cute!

Crying

Alli has been crying for the past 2 and a half hours.  Ryan has been home for the last half.  It is hard because she has NEVER cried so much.  I just dont know what is wrong.  I am sure for you veteran parents this is no big deal, but I really don't know how to help her!  We dont know if she is sick or what.  I just wish I could read her mind! 

Back to School

So sadly enough, last week I started back to school. I do love teaching my class (usually), but it is sad to be away from Alli. It makes me so happy to take care of her after school and on the weekends. So far there haven't been any tears from me when I leave her (which surprised me). A nice thing is that Ryan starts work later so he watches her in the morning and then my mom or aunt watch her in the afternoon. We have been so blessed to have so many people be willing to watch her! I wanted to put up the pictures of Alli's baby announcements, but the formatting isn't right. As soon as we get the hard copies in the mail we will be sending them out. I am at school so these were the only pics I have to put up. I will try to put more up tomorrow. It never works when I try to put pics up from home.

New Blog

Hey so we now have a new blog. It is rabowler.blogspot.com I was hoping to change this blog name last summer, but have not been able to do it so we started a new one. Anyway, so that is where all the pictures (I really will put some up I promise, I have already attempted three times, but we have internet trouble) will be from now on.

Our new blog

So I felt really stupid last summer after I created our blog.  I obviously did not put much thought into our blog name and figured I could change it later.  I have since realized that I really not liking it at all and have not been able to change it so here is our new blog.  I only wish I would have done this before we put up the baby stuff so if you would like to see any of the previous pics go to summerbumminaround.blogspot.com  to my credit I created this last summer while we were in Albuquerque so that should explain any weirdness.  :)  It has been so fun being a mom, I am so happy taking care of her.  This week I had to go back to school and while I love teaching school this weekend has been so nice to stay home and take care of Alli.  She is getting so much more alert and is able to play a little bit.  She is now able to put her hand in her mouth and put her hands together, she can even suck on her thumb (which is really cute, but something I don't really want to encourage, we don't want to chance a five year old thumb sucker, at least we can take away the pacifier eventually).  She also smiles a lot more and we got some of the smiles on camera, but we caught them a little late so she was getting tired.  Anyway, here are some more pictures of our little baby girl.  Also, I am putting up the pictures of her baby blessing which was two weeks ago.
