Little Lady

Here she is trying on Ryan's high school bball warm up shirt. She was trying to put it on herself a while ago and she would wear it like a necklace.

a funny wink face she does sometimes.

another funny face we see often.

Our little lady is 18 months old already! She's growing up so fast, it seems like each day she has something new to entertain us with. At her doctor's appointment she was 34.5 inches tall, and 27.1 lbs. which puts her in the 97th percentile for heigth (tall girl!! I was expecting tall, but not that tall) and about 75th for weight. She loves to make us laugh and does so often with her dancing (spin move and a funny hop) and her silly faces, and she has such a sweet personality. I love to hear her "mommy" all through out the day, her little voice makes me so happy. She is getting much better at talking and it's getting easier all the time to understand what she is saying whether it's bye-bye, or different animal sounds. She likes trying new words and often mimics the words we tell her and is good at recognizing animals in books or pictures or outside whether she hears their sound or sees the picture. She loves to snuggle and I am okay with that because it won't last too long. She's already getting where she doesn't like to be touched and moves your hand away from her. I think she's figured out which clothes she likes to wear more than others because she'll bring me certain articles of clothing to wear even after she's dressed and start to take off what she doesn't want to wear so I can put on what she wants. She loves to read books by herself and have others read them to her. It seems like lately she is almost always smiling and laughing at the simplest things and it makes me so happy, I hope she is always so cheerful! We love you little lady and we're so happy you are in our family!

OHIO

Last week Alli and I got to go with my mom and brother to visit another of my brothers and his family in Ohio. We had such a great time! Alli loved playing with Julia and Audrey and hasn't been quite as happy without her friends to play with. Every morning as soon as she could hear them playing upstairs she had to go play with them and at night she had to say "bye-bye" at least 2 or 3 times before she could go to sleep and anywhere they went she wanted to go too. We had a lot of fun playing at the park, walking through some amazing gardens, Galaxy Game & Golf (where they had the biggest indoor playground I've ever seen, and tons of fun arcade type games-including our favorite Big Bertha) going to the pool, going to the mall (they have a really cool play place), seeing the hospital where Bryan works (and even some of the babies he'd delivered earlier that day), going to the zoo (probably the best zoo I've been to), going for walks, and eating amazing food-whether we went out or Annie made it-seriously she's a fabulous cook, whether she'll admit it or not! I loved just being able to hangout and seeing Bryan and Annie and their darling little girls. Thank you soo much for letting us come visit and stay at your house! We can't wait to see you again! So here are some pictures of the fabulous trip:

First Family Pics

Last week we got our FIRST family pictures taken. My brother Bryan and his wife Annie are good friends with Kara (the photographer) and she has taken their pics before and I love them so since she was out in Utah taking pictures we couldn't pass the opportunity up. She did a wonderful job. Due to a slight delay Alli was a little tired when we started and got progressively more tired, but Kara was so great to work with and was soo patient, she still got lots of great pictures! Here's some of our favorites: (* There's a lot because as I looked through all of them I had a really hard time picking my actual favorites!)

There are a ton, but I am just now going through our whole cd and am loving soo many of them! Thanks Kara!
