Poor Mr. Muscles

Well today Mr. Muscles came home early from work. While I was very excited to have him home I felt so bad for him. He is not one to complain so I knew if it was bad enough for him to leave working it was pretty bad. He felt like he was going to pass out (we think he was dehydrated) and also his mouth was really sore. His bottom gum and glands were swollen so it was hard to talk. He also had A LOT of saliva. However, he is doing a lot better now. We had him swish some salt water and then Peroxyl (thanks Mr. Muscles' Mom) and finally numbed it with some Orajel. I think he was kind of excited to come home though because we got a Nintendo Wii so while he relaxed he set that up and we played for a little bit. It was really fun, we are both glad to have it.

He swished some salt water and then some Peroxyl which really helped and then surprise surprise we used Orajel just like if he was teething. Then I made him some chicken noodle soup so he could drink the broth. He is doing much better now, but I felt bad for him. He is not one to complain too much ever so I figured if he came home from work it was something bad. On a good note we were able to get a Nintendo Wii so we played that while he relaxed. It was a lot of fun we are both glad that we got it.

Frustrations

Are there ever times when you are frustrated about something, but you can't tell anyone? That is what I am feeling right now. I just needed someplace to vent without saying actually what it is. The funny thing is that it is not anything big, but I can not seem to shake this feeling. Ever since last night I have been kind of frustrated. I talked to Ryan, but he gave me a lot of reasons why I shouldn't be frustrated, but in the end I just felt worse because I felt like I was not allowed my feelings. o/well He is right, but I guess I needed some understanding, not reasons why what I was feeling was wrong. I think sometimes guys don't realize that there does not always have to be a solution, that the solution is actually just listening. :) I guess that is what blogs are for, I am feeling better now. P.S. It had nothing to actually do with Ryan or my mom or anything like that in case you are wondering.

Frustrations

Classroom

Well, last week I was in Utah for a few days to get my classroom ready. When I got there I went to get the car only to realize I had left my keys in NM. I borrowed our neighbor's house keys so I was able to get in and Mr. Muscles sent my keys. I got the keys Wednesday so when I went to get the car I was surprised to find that we had a flat tire. Luckily my mom was teaching summer school so I could drop her off, go to my classroom and work and then pick her back up so I could still work and use her car. I got the flat tire fixed, but all in all it was a busy crazy trip. It was a lot of fun (and surprisingly really expensive) to pick out materials for my class. I decided to go with a frog theme so we have Our Hoppy Helpers and we are Leaping Into Learning. My weekly note home will be "What's Hoppening in Sunshine's Class". We found the cutest frogs to put outside my classroom with all of the students' names on them. I found a frog calendar set with frog weather stuff. I am excited to finish putting everything up. I laminated them so they will stay nicer and it ended up being 40 feet of lamination. I am lucky though because lots of the other posters I am using are my mom's that she used so that is saving a lot of money :) Anyway I am pretty excited to continue making games for centers and to continue planning things. I think Mr. Muscles had a lot of fun with Mini-Me and the other single guys while I was gone, but he seemed to be glad when I got back. Everything in Albuquerque went well last week. It is just funny because by Wednesday night they had 29 installs and they only ended with 45 installs. This week we are trying to motivate them to continue getting installs at the end of the week.
