Eventful Ending

These past few days have been very eventful.  Yesterday we went to this Wild Animal park that was really cool.  You drive through and the animals are all around you.  We fed zebras, deer, ostriches, and a bunch of other animals I can't remember the names of.  Ostriches scare me now more than ever, but the zebras were really cool.  It was pretty crazy because most of the animals would just come right up to the car and eat from your hand.  We couldn't get rid of the ostriches, they followed us and kept pecking at the windows, they are scary! We thought Nate was going to get his eyes poked at one point, but luckily we all made it out with all parts still intact.  They also had this cool goat petting zoo and as we were walking in, one goat got past me, luckily there was another gate (for this purpose) and we just corralled it back in.  Alli thought the goats were pretty neat, actually she really liked all the animals! She wanted to pet the animals and walk around with the goats.  Then after school we went to get Emma's ears pierced and on the way Alli totally threw up all over herself and her carseat.  Emma informed me that Alli had spit up so I gave her a wipe and asked her to wipe it up, well then Alli really spit up a lot more so Tanya pulled over and I jumped out and Alli did it again so luckily we had made it to the mall parking lot so we took off her clothes, wiped her seat out as much as we could went and bought a new outfit for her and got Emma's ears pierced! Last night though she threw up a few more times and for a grand finale-threw up on the plane today! I learned that the flight attendants are very helpful and were very nice in this situation.  We don't know what is causing all these episodes, but hopefully it is just a stomach bug that will quickly pass! Poor Alli! It got all over her shoes and the floor and seat of the plane.  It got on my pants, but luckily none on the man next to us. He was so kind he just kindly asked if I needed some help.  They switched his seat so the rest of the flight we had an extra seat next to us like we did on the way out.  Thank you Tanya for making this week so much fun and for all the help cleaning Alli up-mutliple times, thank you Jake for making the whole trip possible, Emma for being such a big helper and playing with Alli, Nate for teaching Alli new tricks and being her new friend, and Ryan for letting us go! We had such a great trip!

I'm not sure if multiple people can comment from the same blog (for example Natalie and I could both posit our thoughts....and I really think Natalie's comments would be more entertaining anyway....so I'll comment in the hopes that she can as well). It looks like your trip was great! Ostriches are probably some of the weirdest animals around. They probably are just angry because they've got such sad wings. I hope Alli gets to feeling better!
