No I am not pregnant in the picture, although you would wonder why my hand is across my stomach. Just a random picture of me and Ryan from a few years ago because crazy enough, today was the 4 year mark of Ryan and my first date. It seems like so long ago, but also like it just barely happened. I feel like I haven't changed/grown up at all, but also a lot at the same time. Kind of funny. I am just so glad that he asked me out and that a year and a half later we got married. He is such a great husband. I love that he makes me laugh and really just wants to make me happy. He works so hard to provide for me and little Alli, and he doesn't complain. Whenever he sets his mind to something, he doesn't let anything stop him (I found this out pretty early in the relationship). So just for a trip down memory lane on our first date we went to Divine Comedy on BYU campus at the 10:30 showing since I went to Christmas Around the World earlier with my mom and some friends. I didn't think he would be interested in me at all and figured we wouldn't have anything in common. As we walked up to campus I was pleasantly surprised to find that this incredibly good looking boy was actually down to earth and genuine as well. Then the next morning Ryan volunteered to go do service on campus since he conveniently hadn't done service in a while (Ryan is not a morning person so this was a big sacrifice) and from then on he was always doing the nicest, most thoughtful things. I could go on and one about fun memories and thoughtful things he has done, but I am sure you would rather I sum it up with thanks for 4 great years dating, I love you! This is a week and a half after our first date at our ward Christmas party, where he conveniently asked for a ride so he would be able to be with me. :)

We are glad he found you. We love having you in the family. We are glad he grew up and changed his taste in girls, because the girls he used to date are not ones I would want as part of the family (sorry Ryan!) We love you both. Happy dating!
you 2 are super cute together-
what a fun walk down memory lane. i can't believe its been so long! james and i were just starting to date when you and ryan got married! crazy how time flies!
I can't believe it has been four years since you guys had your first date; boy how time flies, and trust me it just goes faster and faster! It's cool to see another generation of Bowlers on the rise. Going up with my brothers and sister we had a lot of fun times and of course fights ;), but it cool to see another generation of Bowlers going through what our parents went through many, many years ago. Cherish your family every minute because as you will learn they mean more than anything else you will ever get or ever had! Keep up the good work with Alli and also with Ryan.
Amanda we are sure glad that you are apart of our family. We love you and you bring the best out in Ryan. We knew he would be a great catch. Like Colin says family is everything and it is great to be able to see our children and watch their small families grow. No greater happiness than this.
