Quick Question
I need a little advice from any of who you have been to a spinning/cycling class. I am going to start teaching some next week so I would like to know what you liked/disliked about the class/teacher/routine etc. so that I can try to make my class good. I am pretty excited because I taught aerobics at BYU (thanks to Kate G.), but I haven't taught spinning before. I think it will be fun though. Thanks for any input you have!

I've never done a spinning class. I hear they are awesome though. Good luck. Where are you going to be teaching?
Hey this is Casey (Carrick) Esplin, Where are you going to be teaching I would love to be in a spinning class..
thats so awesome you are teaching!! where?? you will do so great!
such cute pictures from cabo!! looks like you guys had so much fun.
Amanda I have heard that the more intense the better.....but I am not sure cuz I have never gone to one. So you are teaching it in Spanish fork? What days and where? I have been wanting to lose some extra pounds!! ha ha so let me know when where and how much it is to join??? Thanks!!
The cool thing about spin classes is you can totally make it as intense as you want it, or as un-intense as you want and no one knows! The classes I will teach are at the high school and it is 10.00 for the month and you come twice a week. It is Tues/Thurs. and the classes are at 7, 8, and 9 for 45 minutes. I will probably teach 2 classes back to back one of the nights and maybe one the other night. I am not sure which time I will be teaching though so when I find out I will let you know. It would be fun to have people I know in the class.
hey Amanda My husband and I want to join this so let me know when we can sign up my number is 722-9713 or 794-0231 We really need to do something really bad Thanks!!!
I've only been once, and boy was the seat uncomfortable, but maybe that's because I haven't been on a bike since I was a preteen maybe, and to be on one for an hour, was crazy. It was good, but when it comes to advice, I don't know because I've only been to one, I liked the the teacher asked everyone when they came in if they needed help with their bike, since I've never been I didn't even know where to start. Good luck!
Intervals, intervals, intervals and at least two "hills," are the key to my spinning satisfaction baby! I love it when I walk out of class wanting to barf from the high low intervals. Also, good music - ya know, what the kids listen to these days!
Amanda I would totally join! I am excited about it!!! Do you know when it starts like the date?? Well let me know I would love to come and join! I would be a lot more comfortable doing it with a teacher that i know! haha! Email me if you can with more info! Or just post it on your blog!! haha either way! thanks!! my email is Amanda_bms@hotmail.com!
funny i just went to my frist spinning class this week! let me tell you... i had a serious phobia of spinning up until the time that i went. but it was actually really fun! one thing that is a huge deal to me is the music. as long as its good music that you can rock out to then you don't even notice the burning. also, be sure to explain things to the newbies. i was so lost for a while. but i had fun anyway.
good luck! and let me know how it goes.
